An introductory course that teaches the fundamentals of Photoshop & Digital Imaging. Comprehensive approach to the entire digital workflow - from image capture to print output.
Students will learn about resolution, color management, tonal and color correction with levels and curves, adjustment layers and masking, non-destructive approach to digital imaging.

Practical Photoshop

Designed to help photographers adopt more efficient approaches to master digital imaging. It achieves this by showing students how to tackle real world imaging problems through creative solutions with the computer. By introducing faster ways to solve imaging problems, photographers can spend less time working on photoshop and get back to shooting more.

Light, Tones & Styles
2 sessions | Total 4 hours.
The photographer paints with Light.
Through the use of highlights, shadows and tonal contrasts, students learn how to manipulate light to create mood, fantasy, drama, glamour, mystery and suspense.
This workshop demonstrates how to use different light sources to and styles of lighting to add to the photographer's repertoire of works.
Apart from learning how to shoot better in available light, students also get a crash course on how to use studio strobes and camera flashes creatively.
The concept of tones would also be explained with an introduction to the principles of Ansel Adam's Zone System
Besides mastering the technical skills, the workshop also emphasizes on the aesthetic approach to develop a critical eye for seeing light.

It also covers the common business mistakes committed frequently by professionals. Save yourself from the painful and costly school of hard knocks.
In short, a mediocre photographer with first-class business skills will easily earn more than an excellent photographer with poor business skills.

Visual Styles & Personal Voices

Designed for the intermediate photographer, serious amateurs and budding professionals.
This workshop helps you to stand out in the competitive world of photography by developing your own personal aesthetics. Part theory and part practical, students will study how the masters of photography evolve their works and do likewise in similar approaches.
Students will work on personalized assignments designed to help them explore their personal voices and individual visual styles in photography.

Photography as a Visual Language
12 sessions | 1.5 hours each session
Photography is a language that communicates visually. Using the concept of photos stories, this workshop shows you how to define your own photographic vocabularies. It will also help you realize how everyone sees things differently and how to translate these images into personal visions - a critical step to learn how to use photography as an effective tool for communication.
Personalized attention will be given to every student to help him or her find the technical elements that work best for each individual.
