4-week course June 25 - July 20, 2012
30,000 RMB
Limited to 4 students
This summer, the Beijing Center of Photography will be running a 4-week long series of classes designed to make you a better photographer. You will learn a wide variety of skills that will help you understand what is needed to get the photos you’ve always wanted.
The 4-week course is goal-oriented, with the students needs in mind. Each students’ photographic interests will be taken into account during the sessions, and training will be adapted to suit the individual. The course will combine classroom time along with multiple field trips. Students will be given time to explore the skills training through a series of assignments, and generous amounts of feedback from our instructors.
All students will be taught a set of foundation topics that will range from essential camera knowledge, to understanding natural light, composition and advanced editing techniques.
This full-time course will take place Monday-Friday, with some days in a classroom or studio, and some days in the field. Due to the limited enrollment of this course, students will enjoy personal training and attention from the instructors. Students will spend part of the day with an instructor, and part of the day doing assignments or skills application. Students will need to bring self initiative to the class along with their camera equipment. The goal of this training would be to help students find their style, and produce a body of work that exhibits this vision. An actual exhibition can be arranged, if students are interested as well.
