Led by Stefen Chow, adventurer and photographer who has climbed Everest and shot for many international magazines, this will be an intense photography workshop that will push your creative limits. This is not your usual travel photography tour, but an intense bootcamp to seriously increase your photography skills. It's also a great opportunity to hone your photography techniques and sense of aesthetics. Join us in this photographic challenge to capture visual stories of Beijing.

About Stefen Chow
Stefen Chow has worked with some of the world's most respected publications, including Time, Geo, Smithsonian, Sports Illustrated, Forbes and Wall Street Journal. Stefen is named by Nikon as a Nikon Professional, and his works have been awarded by PDN, National Geographic, Billboard and PX3. Most of all, Stefen is passionate about teaching, and his personal belief is that the best way to learn is to share everything you know.
About Ian Robert Knight
Ian has been traveling around the world for more than 20 years, and stopped in 60 countries on 6 continents. His camera has been pointed at some of the most beautiful places on the planet. His knowledge of landscape photography and working with natural light is at a savant level. Ian is a natural teacher, who has an affinity to explain technical concepts in simple to understand terms, and will help you to get the most from your photography.

Participants will learn to photograph under natural lighting conditions, positioning, framing techniques.

Participants will be asked to work on a certain theme in this shoot. They will shoot, edit and upload the assignment onto server.
12:00 - Lunch
13:00 - Individual sessions with Stefen & Ian, performing editing photos from practical sessions.
Participants will need to produce 10 of their best work, and Stefen & Ian will provide feedback and consultation.

20:00 - Lecture by Stefen - Art of Seeing / Summary of Participants' Works

Accommodation
We will be staying in a local Hostel close to where we shoot. The Hostel is basic, but comfortable. Participants will share rooms (two-to-a-room) on the night of April 16. The purpose of this accommodation is to help participants keep their belongings safe while they are out shooting. It is also for participants to wash up and take quick breaks.
Staying overnight is optional, but highly recommended, and no rebate is provided if participants choose to return home to sleep instead. Instructors will be staying overnight as discussions and interaction are expected to carry on at night, beyond scheduled class hours.
