ReD Ognita is a Filipino photographer born in Manila who started taking photos just to document events as it transpired. He named his own personal works "TIME MACHINE" where he can always go back and feel the moment that once was.

As he progresses, he realized that photography can be so much more.

He started to create things long before the shutter clicks, seeing things even before he holds the camera. Eventually ReD found himself not only documenting events but also capturing and making images that are in a way, his self expression. According to ReD, a camera is like any other tool, it can be a tool of art; it can be a brush to a painter or a chisel to a sculptor - where he can carve time and imagination on paper. ReD does not aim to record the world as everyone sees it, he believes that in some way, photos reflect the way we see the world and in some level our personality. Needless to say, all photos presented is the sum of collected experiences realized in digital form.

ReD is currently the advisor of Pinoy Photographers Philippines-Beijing http://popbeijing.org/ and the Black and White moderator of Mid-East Snipers, a group of hardcore photographers residing in the Gulf region http://www.mesnipers.com/
