Born in the humble surroundings of Gunnedah, Australia, Dominic is the son of a record collecting high school teacher and a folk art obsessed nurse. After receiving an early edition of Photoshop from his father at age 14, Dominic soon discovered that he could shape the world around him and be shaped by what that world had to offer. In that same year Dominic went on to be featured in the centre spread of Atomic magazine for his efforts in 3D design. During his education, Dominic won subject awards topping both Information Technology and Graphic Design with a special mention in other related subjects. In 2006, Dominic won a design scholarship from ASICS clothing corporation for his T-shirt designs and had the opportunity to further his design studies in Tokyo, Japan. Dominic draws his influences from his years spent traveling and living in foreign countries and enjoys meeting new people, music and above all photography. Dominic has extensive experience over the years working for design studios based in Canberra and has worked with clients such as Rapheon, SonyBMG, and the Australian Government. These days, Dominic spends his time looking through the eye of a lens refining his love for portrait and fashion photography. With a camera in one hand, and a mouse in the other, together the possibilities for creativity are endless. |
